Phone Apps are becoming increasingly popular among website owners.

They represent a new and fast growing market as more and more users are wanting to access information electronically from their phones. Websites are not naturally ideal for the small visual displays typical of hand-held devices.

Often phone apps need access to the same data that websites use internally and this is easy to do.

Phone Apps are programmed in a language called Java which is quite a bit more complex than the html (and javascript) that drives websites. This makes the development time significantly longer and because of this - the cost of even a simple phone app can be several times the entire cost of the website.
